What do Frisbees and AeroPress have in common?

At first glance? Absolutely nothing.

But behind both stands the same genius — Alan Adler.

Professor, engineer, inventor... and lover of good coffee. 😎

First, he gave the world the Aerobie Frisbee , which set a Guinness record for the longest flight (406 meters!), and then he moved on to coffee.

Since he couldn't find a coffee utensil that really convinced him, he said to himself, "I'll make my own."

The result? AeroPress — one of the most popular coffee gadgets in the world today!

What's so special about the AeroPress?

☕ Super easy to prepare

💨 No bitterness and acidity

🎒 Great for home and on the go

🤓 Ideal for experimenting with recipes

And yes, AeroPress is no longer just the Original these days.

You can choose from several models:

Recipe of the Week: Tim Wendelboe

If you really want to try out what AeroPress can do — we recommend this recipe from Norwegian coffee master Tim Wendelboe 🇳🇴

Minimalist. Elegant. Perfect.

You need:

  • 15 g coffee (medium coarse ground) ☕
  • 200g water (96°C) 💧
  • AeroPress (standard layout)

Preparation process:

  1. Rinse the paper filter under running water. Rinse for 10 seconds. 💧
  2. Add 14 grams of freshly ground coffee to the AeroPress. (Tim recommends 15-20 clicks on the Comandante grinder). 💪🏻
  3. Pour 200 g of water heated to 96°C. 💦
  4. Mix 3x back and forth. 🥄
  5. Place the plunger (handle) on the AeroPress to prevent water from flowing through the filter. 🛑
  6. Let soak for 60 seconds. ⏳
  7. After 60 seconds, remove the plunger and stir back and forth 3 times again. (It's really important to stir exactly 3 times - if you stir less, the coffee will be under-extracted, if more, it will be over-extracted). 👆🏼
  8. Reinstall the plunger on the AeroPress and slowly press the coffee into the cup. ☕️

The result?

Light, clean and aromatic coffee. Ideal for anyone who likes to taste fruity, floral and delicate coffee flavors. 🍑🌸

Fun Fact:

  • This is exactly the recipe they use at the world-famous TIM WENDELBOE cafe in Oslo! 🇳🇴

“AeroPress is like a Frisbee. 😎

Small, lightweight and always ready for action.

It goes with you to the sea, to the mountains, on a picnic or even to the balcony.

But instead of flying through the air, it flies straight into your favorite cup. ☕💥”
